Happy New Year! We are back at work today, gearing up for 2010. We look forward to meeting you in 2010 and to kick off the year we’ve done up a list of IT resolutions (the diet word has been banned!) which maybe of benefit to you:
Website – update your website, let your customers know what’s new, it also helps with the search engines;
Back up – always back up your computers and every once in a while try recovering a file;
Security – ensure all your antivirus, antispam & firewall software is up and running, scanning and updating automatically;
Software – update your operating software with the weekly recommended software patches;
Social media – review some of the social media tools out there – Twitter.com, Facebook.com, Linkedin.com & Youtube.com. They are currently free to use and can benefit your company;
E-commerce – if you haven’t already, consider the opportunities that e-commerce might bring to your company.
